ARMISTICE SUNDAY
11TH NOVEMBER 2018.
This year’s Benefice service will at Welburn beginning at 1040 am.
We shall be commemorating the end of the First World War when the Armistice came into effect at 11am on 11th November 1918, exactly one hundred years ago.
Despite the planned closure of the A64 it should be perfectly possible to get to Welburn exiting from the High Hutton turning and following the instructions of the Contractors’ officials but allow extra time for the short journey. Equally exiting from the Low Hutton turning will be feasible although the journey to Welburn via Malton and Coneysthorpe will take longer.
We do hope you will be able to join us.
