 PARISH COUNCIL MINUTES 

 

Wednesday, July 19th at 7:30pm 

 

 

Minutes 

 

1. Welcome,  

1. Councillors present – Simon Lealman, Clare Messer, Alan Sanders & Anne Lealman (Clerk) 

2. apologies for absence – Philip Barraclough, Emma Samuel & Andy Dorman 

3. Guests: Graham Milner 

 

2. Approval of Minutes of meeting on 17 May 2023 – approved by councilors present 

 

 

3. Matters arising: 

1. Parish Map – awaiting collection at printers, frames at Andy D’s house. Simon to make contact when back from holiday 

2. Public Footpaths – Clare M to make contact with Rona to progress a couple of issues arising on the public footpaths. 

 

4. New Matters: both closed to prior to the meeting 

1. 1 car reported abandoned, NYC has removed from Low Lane 

2. Car owner of blue car on the green asked to removed from the turning bay, this has been done and apologies received 

 

5. Planning:  

None 

 

6. Finance: 

1. Balance at 29 June 2023 is £7483.64 (funds received from NYC) 

2. Ring fenced Funds of £300.00 

3. Committed spend  

1. £222.40 Clerk Salary and HMRC payment 

4. Balance as of now is £7261.24 

5. Informed of income to be received of £6089.15 in respect of COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY Planning Reference 17/01417/FUL 

6. Report from Independent Review of Finances 

 

7. Any Other Business 

1. Garden Contract for 24/25 to be discussed at next meeting 

2. NYC Parish Charter update, emailed to al councilors 19/07/23 

3. Dog Poo bags
