Art & Photography Exhibition

Over the bank holiday weekend a group of like-minded artists and photographers held a combined exhibition in the village hall. Visitors were treated to a wide range of watercolours, acrylics, oils, photographs and handmade cards.

The artists were:

• Sally Ainsworth, Ann Cole, Rita Morton, Margaret Smith and Cyril Race

The photographers were:

• Mick Brewer, Jem Charles, Andy Dorman, John Morton, Philip Stone and Howard Wallis

Thanks to everyone who came to the village hall to see our work, we found your interest and comments greatly encouraging.

Thanks to the artists and photographers for having the courage to show their work and investing the time and effort to make a good show and thanks to Margaret Smith for proposing the joint event and playing a key role in making it happen.

And special thanks to the unsung team of husbands, wives, partners and helpers who work behind the scenes to make these things happen
