New Chapter for Village Hall

We’re excited to announce a new chapter for Huttons Ambo Village Hall, with a new management committee made up of Gary, Nigel, Maurice, Emma and myself.

First of all, a huge thank you to Richard, Denise and Clare for all their hard work and dedication to the hall over the years. It’s very much appreciated!

The hall is a fantastic village asset, refurbished in 2016, but it’s currently very underused. Without greater use and support from the community its future is uncertain. We’d love to change that and make it a much bigger part of village life again - somewhere to meet, socialise, learn new things and bring people of all ages together.

We have lots of ideas to get things started, from wine and cheese evenings and film nights to craft workshops, coffee mornings, children’s activities and exercise classes. There are a few ideas on the poster, but we really want to hear yours, too!

To help encourage more people to use the hall, we’re introducing a reduced hire rate of just £5 per hour for Huttons Ambo residents. Whether you fancy starting a new group, organising an event or simply getting people together, we’d love to help make it happen.

πŸ“… A couple of dates for your diary:
🌿 Wednesday 2nd December: Festive wreath-making workshop - tickets still available! We'd love to see you there.
πŸŽ„ Tuesday 8th December: Christmas Carols on the Green at 7pm, followed by mulled wine and mince pies in the village hall, organised by Clare and Jane

Have an idea? Want to run an activity? Or simply fancy coming along to something? Please get in touch by emailing hall@huttonsambo.com or leave a comment below.

Let’s make the most of our village hall, bring our community together and put the heart back into Huttons Ambo! 🏑❤️
